Version 1.2 solves many usability problems caused by web pages that include Javascript code to prevent selection of text and proper highlighting.
Based on your feedback, you can now highlight directly from the annotation toolbar that shows at the bottom of the screen whenever you have selected some text in the web page.
As a bonus, you can directly choose what color you want to highlight, instead of having to reselect and change the color from the popup menu.
We also solved several bugs:
- Web pages scale well after clearing history
- Navigating to urls that RePaper can't display well asks you if you want to open them in Mobile Safari (e.g. YouTube videos, App Store link)
- Search auto-suggestions show accents and Unicode characters
