The world is a book and those who do not travel, or download this app update, read only a page. And if you ever wanted to read a book in reverse, or duplicate it, or...well, book metaphors aren't exactly our thing, but trip planning is!
With a single tap, trips can now be made into a round trip, duplicated, reversed, and re-routed.
Before sending you off, we also tuned up some things under the hood. Happy reading and travels!

This release contains a small update to the trip planner to ensure users without Roadtrippers Plus know the maximum number of waypoints allowed for their trip (7). For trips already over this limit, users without Roadtrippers Plus are still able to view the itinerary, see the trips on the map, and add dates or waypoint notes without removing any waypoints. Please note that removing waypoints from an existing trip that's longer than 7 waypoints won't allow you to add in new waypoints without upgrading to Plus.

"The world is a book, and those who do not travel, or download this app update, read only a page." So let's read what's inside!
We tweaked some things under the hood to make loading trips even faster!
Roadtrippers Plus is now required to invite trip collaborators and create trips with more than 7 waypoints. Existing collaborative and 8+ waypoint trips will still be accessible from your account.
Please reach out to support@roadtrippers.com with any questions.

As Confucius once said, "Wherever you go, go with all your heart… and remember to update your Roadtrippers app." He was so wise.

It’s a chilly December morning. The house smells of coffee and cookies, the pear trees are full of partridges, and there’s a Die Hard marathon on tv. Now, just imagine seeing the joy on a child’s face when they download this app update. The pure glee when they realize they can now flag problems with a POI; the sense of awe as they get alert messages when a POI is closed, or on private property, or experiencing hazardous conditions; And the wonder in their eyes as bug fixes magically transform their user experience. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year for a holiday road trip (and this app update).

It’s Thanksgiving, and your survivalist Uncle Gerry is pitching you on his bunker timeshare business, which is “definitely not a pyramid scheme.” You question if the secret ingredient in crazy Aunt Sarah’s pumpkin pie is, in fact, human tears. And on a tryptophan-induced vision quest you decide to update your Roadtrippers app and learn that just a couple miles away there’s a replica of Stonehenge made entirely out of foam. Score!
This release includes fixes for a few small text and image display bugs.
4.5.12

5 out of 4 “doctors” recommend using Roadtrippers to find unique and amazing places on the road.

The year was 1999. Russian defector Yekaterina Petrovna Zamolodchikova planned to become the first woman to drive solo across America. She did, and no one cared.
Unbeknownst to her, roughly 90 years earlier, Alice Huyler Ramsey had won acclaim as the first woman to make the transcontinental trip solo. And like, loads of other women have followed her since.
If only Yekaterina had updated her Roadtrippers app, she'd have learned all about Alice Ramsey and her epic American odyssey.
This version of Roadtrippers makes authentication more secure, fixes an issue where images would sometimes fail to load on Trip Guides, and adds support for our brand new homepage!

No one actually knows why you drive on a parkway and park in a driveway. It makes absolutely no sense. But what does make a lot of sense is this latest Roadtrippers app update, which will allow you to sign up or sign in with your Togo account.

With Mars in retrograde until the 27th, now is the time for meaningful introspection, avoiding risky investments, and thinking about how you plan to change the world. It is also a pretty good time to update your Roadtrippers app, to improve battery life.

Sometimes you love a place so much that you always want to be there. You're always looking at pictures and telling your friends about that time you DEFINITELY saw Nicolas Cage there. You saved this place on Roadtrippers for easy access to your happy place.
Our last update caused the app to crash for you and you thought this was because your love was *that* strong. That was actually our fault... fortunately, this update fixes a crash related to opening your saved places. Who were we to stand in the way of your love?
(P.S. Please tell Mr. Cage to return Anna's calls when you see him again.)

Did you know that for every mile you drive, you extend your life by one hour? Well, I’m no scientist, but that sounds about right to me. While that may or may not be true, it is definitely true that this app update will:
◦ Try to keep your trip active for longer in between app opens
◦ Update the image gallery to remove some repeated images
◦ Address an infrequent app crash when the app uses your current location

Hakuna Matata didn't always mean "No worries." In fact, its original meaning roughly translated to: "Remember to check your carburetor before a long drive." So, you should probably do that, and download this latest app release, which fixes some bugs and improves performance.

The 1986 class of the Navy's elite flight school, Top Gun, is known for producing skilled fighter pilots like Maverick and Iceman. But there was another famous graduate that year: Lawrence van der Pimple, who left the Navy with full honors and a couple of Purple Hearts. Rather than become a commercial pilot, he traded in his flight wings to became the first American to ride a Segway cross-country. While that story isn't entirely factual, this app update will in fact fix a couple nasty bugs.

There comes a time in everyone's life when they ask three important questions: 1.) Should I take the scenic route? 2.) Should I see a doctor about this itch? and 3.) Should I download this Roadtrippers app update to fix a few bugs? The answer to these questions is always, yes. Absolutely. Do it. Especially that itch, dude.
