About Runewards: Strategy Card Game

Runewards is a free-to-play competitive strategy card game set in a fantasy themed world that allows players to battle one against another. Runewards is a game about strategy, about bluffing and about out-smarting your opponent.

In Runewards, players can play solo versus A.I. or other players in Unranked or Ranked Matches. Each player begins with 10 cards, containing Spells, Units and a Hero. The Player with the highest Power value at the end of the round wins.

Players can also compete in Seasonal Leagues, where reaching higher Leagues will reward the player with gifts (Chests, Cards, Gold and Runes) depending on what position they finished at the end of the Season.

Players will be able to increase their Deck Collection simply by playing the game. They can also earn cards by completing daily Quests, which reward Gold – The currency that is being used in the game to purchase chests. Chests contain cards that can be added to your Deck Collection.

If you want to succeed, you will need more than just playing the game, you will need to outplay your opponent!

== GAME INFO ==
The game board where you will play against other players is called Battlefield. The Battlefield is composed of three lanes (shown in brick-mortar composition) per player called Territories, all of which is based on unit card's Affiliation.

The Territories play a crucial part of Runeward's gameplay because many cards, spells and heroes can affect them in a variety of ways.
On the right part of the screen you have the Heroes which you can pick when you make your deck. There are several heroes for every army in the game.

Cards: Runewards has three types of cards: Heroes, Units and Spells.

New Cards:

Gorga Chieftan - Passive: When this Unit enters the graveyard, it gains 5 power permanently.
Swamp Lurker - Passive: Whenever this Unit is Sacrificed, Active: return it back from the Graveyard and give it 2 Power.
Taur Champion - Passive: Whenever this Unit is moved between Territories, Active: gain 5 Power.
Witch's Curse - Active: Disable an enemy Unit and give it Passive: At the end of each turn, reduce this Unit's Power by 1 and give 1 Power to a random enemy Unit.
Fist of Burarum - Target a Unit and reduce its Power by 8. If that Unit's power is reduced to 0, Discard it as well.
Warden Valinor - Active: If you play a Unit on your next turn, it will gain Immunity.

Mage of the Ruby Order - If a Territory is affected by Weather, cast a random Human Spell immediately.
The Red Seer - Active: Cast 2 random Weather Spells on your opponent's side of the Battlefield.
Lionhart - All allied Units on the Battlefield gains Immunity.
Dark Hatred - Target an allied Unit on the Battlefield and Summon all copies of it from your deck.
Scouting - Active: Summon a Basic Unit from your deck.
Sneak Attack - Active: Target an enemy Unit and Disable it. If you Disabled a Passive Ability, reduce its Power by 5.
Nephilim Officer - Active: Play your Hero's Ability one more time.
Gorga Fighter - Passive: All Mercenaries gain 1 Power.
General Changes:

Each player entering the game after the patch is up will recieve a special quest as part of The King has Returned Event. Completing it will reward 1 copy of Vyramar, The King in Shadows.
Unranked Mode is now open to all players, regardless of their level.
Ranked mode restriction has been reduced from Level 10 to Level 6.
Once the The King Has Returned Started, we temporarily removed all restrictions on Ladder - Go on and play Ranked!
Runewards added a new language: Farsi.

Onslaught (5 Power) - New Ability - Passive: Whenever this Unit's Power would be reduced, Active: gain 3 Power instead.
Diplomat (4 Power) - New Ability - Active: If you have more Units on the Battlefield then your opponent, draw a card and play it immediately
Pathfinder (6 Power) - New Ability - Active: Reveal 3 random cards from your deck. Choose one and place it on the top of your deck. The rest is shuffled randomly back to your deck.
Humans:

Azure Enchanter (5 Power) - New Ability - Active: Next turn, if you play a Basic Spell it is triggered twice.

Runewards Season 3 is now available.
Create a deck, choose your Race, Hero, Units and Spells as usual, then select the "Multiplayer" mode and compete with other players around the globe!
A player must complete ten (10) placement matches in the Multiplayer mode in order to receive their rank on the Leaderboard. The player's ranking is represented as a Matchmaking Rating (MMR) between 1 and higher, with a higher number representing a higher level of skill.
After the placement matches are completed, the system will assign an MMR score from which the player will begin to compete against other opponents in the ranked system.
The amount of MMR assigned to the player will then be used to place the player in the appropriate league such as is described in the table below.

General Changes:

Shop - added new Starter-Pack for purchase.
Shop - added new Special-Offer for purchase.
Game - Discarded Units in the Redraw-Phase are now sent to the Graveyard.
Game - Passive abilities doesn't affect Immune Units

Card Changes:

Mercenaries:
Resurrection Ability changed - Summon an allied Unit, Basic or Rare from your Graveyard.

Humans:
Cleric Ability changed - Summon a non-Mythical Unit from your Graveyard.
Decreased Black Knight to 10 Power.
Scholar of the Kingdom Ability changed - does not work on the first turn.

Nature:
Added new Mythical Card: Alanis the Elf Caster.
Added new Mythical Card: The Keystone.

Monsters:
Blacktails now activates its Ability until the targeted Unit reaches 0 Power.
Blacktails is now Rare.

Bug Fixes:
Fixed Journey Quests.
Fixed music - now looped.
Fixed Touch of Immortality Ability text.
Fixed Campaign Act1 Chapter4 Power calculations.
Fixed Doctor Yankul's Ability bug.
