RunwayHD is a sophisticated planning and navigation tool for VFR flying which you can unlock for flight with your Airbox chart subscription*.
Runway HD features:
• Very fast moving map display.
• Grab and drag routes for rapid route planning.
• Always fly with the chart you are most familiar with. Download charts of anywhere in the world to your iPad. Choices include national aviation (ICAO) charts and privately created charts such as Bossy for France and Portolano for Italy (for a full list, please see our website).
• Vector charts available free of charge anywhere in the world which declutter as you zoom out and text rotates as you turn.
• Google Maps in-app integration; perfect for planning approaches.

- Totally redesigned route briefing page, showing which leg you are flying and weather details on route.
- We believe that sharing is caring so…there is now an even easier way to share you routes with your friends. Bluetooth sharing is available via the route tab and adds to the various other methods of route sharing that are already in RunwayHD.
- If you fancy popping over to another country you need to make sure you have the essentials ticked off your list – GAR forms and Rocket Route filing. This version of RunwayHD includes tweaks to make these easier.

Finally, it's here. You can now file GAR direct from RunwayHD for FREE. Just setup your aircraft and enter the details of those travelling and off you go.
Bluetooth Route Sharing
You can now use Bluetooth to share routes instantly with friends nearby. Find it in the Share Route options, just make sure Bluetooth is turned on!
