Safe Routes Florida Description

For any safety issues you notice in and around your route to school, work or play, such as damaged street signs, blocked pedestrian walk ways and other traffic issues, the Safe Routes Florida app makes reporting a problem easier than ever. This app uses GPS to recognize your location and gives you a menu of common safety conditions to select from. The app allows you to upload pictures to accompany your request. The mobile app can also be used for a variety of other issues such as graffiti, street maintenance, traffic lights, crosswalks, illegal parking and school signs. Residents can track the status of reports they or other members of the community have submitted.

Communication is critical so we’ve improved commenting on requests with a new design and better image loading and status changes

We’ve also added internal commenting for service providers to better facilitate the communications necessary to resolve requests

We included deep linking to requests so you can have direct access to issues in the app from shared links in emails or messages.

Last but not least, we smashed a few bugs in viewing and navigating organizations in your area, updated the issue card UI, and made it easier to share issues with your neighbors
