The New Zealand flag has been stolen. Not only that, all the alternative flags in the referendum have been stolen too. Without any flag to vote for, there can't be a referendum. Even worse, without any flag, we'll have to adopt the Australian one!
But a disruption in the the gravitational waves of the spacetime continuum has caused iconic New Zealand figures to be transported into the present day. With their help, you can save the New Zealand flag(s)!
You'll travel throughout New Zealand getting energy from the thermonuclear pies you eat along the way (remember: always blow on the pie). And as you do, you'll collect the flags that the flag thief has dropped. But watch out for Thingee's eye - it's on the loose and will slow you down.

Sometimes debate about the flag referendum gets intense (especially with my friends). This game is intended to provide some light comic relief for everyone - regardless of which way you decide to vote.
The important thing is that you should vote!

We've made a few changes to make this even more fun:
- adjusted the frequency of flags appearing: it'll start easier, but get harder as you collect more of them
- added a couple more items into the store to give you more energy and last longer
- you can now tap straight away on the intro screen to get to the action quicker
