About SCDF WPS 2019

The Workplan Seminar (WPS) is held annually to (a) highlight the SCDF’s achievements for the past year, and (b) share the focus of the key initiatives with both internal and external stakeholders for the coming Work Year (WY).

WPS 2019 will focus on how SCDF works with strategic partners on our transformation journey, including the community, and those with S&T expertise in the private sector, the academia and research entities. By leveraging on the strength of these partnerships, we look to transform our emergency response, in particular through the application of S&T, and co-opting of the community. On this note, the theme for WPS 2019 is “A Nation of Lifesavers – Partners in Transformation”.

The WPS 2019 app will provide a host of resources, including the Event floorplan and a QR code scanner, to enrich the experience for Workplan visitors. Furthermore, On-site registration will be handled through the app to facilitate a smoother registration process.
