About SCIENTIA

I Designed this application to help students Learn Latin and greek roots that are commonly used in science. The discipline of science requires a extensive vocabulary and this can make learning intimidating to some. I built this application to help students learn common Latin and Greek root words that are found in many scientific terms. Understanding these roots makes it possible to deduce the meaning of many scientific terms.

Added the ability to create your own matching game with terms and definitions.

Future updates will include more sets of roots and I am working on a matching game that will also be available in a future update.

I added some new roots and I also added the amino acids, three letter abbreviation, one letter abbreviation and which group they belong to. These will be helpful for cell and molecular biology students.

This version has a matching game with all the roots and meanings and is universal allowing the user to study on their iPhone or iPad.

The next update will include more roots and meanings and allow some customization of the game. Possibly game center support, if not it will be in the following update.
