Scribble Together Whiteboard Description
Draw together in real time, from anywhere! In seconds, anyone can follow along with your drawing or draw with you from the app or on the web. Use Scribble alongside a call; talk with FaceTime or any other app you like.

DRAW ON ANYTHING
Draw over pdfs and images. Snap a picture of homework and draw on it, or review a pdf together. Once you are finished, you can save out a new pdf with your annotations.

WEB OR APP
Work with anyone, even your guests who don’t have an iPad or iPhone. The web app can be used to draw using a tablet, touch screen computer, or stylus. Display your live drawing on a big screen in a classroom or conference room using any browser and a convenient link.

SET UP IN A SNAP
Get on the same whiteboard together in seconds. No registering for an account or adding contacts in yet another app. Once you’ve connected in FaceTime or by phone you can tell your guests to join you using a link or a code, for free, with no messy sign ups.

INFINITE SPACE, UNLIMITED BOARDS
Control scrolling of the infinite drawing space so that everyone sees the same area at the same time. Whiteboards are unlimited, so you can start fresh for each topic. Unlike a real whiteboard, many people can draw in the same space at the same time!

POINT AND GESTURE
Point things out as you’re speaking with Scribble’s virtual laser pointer. No more clumsy describing of which part of a picture you're referring to – just use the magical disappearing laser ink. Designate different colors if you and your guests both need to point.

PENCIL SUPPORT
If you’ve got an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, drawing feels especially great in Scribble. It’s like using paper, but you can draw with anyone, anywhere in the world. You can also use Settings to decide what you’d like your finger to do while you have the Pencil in hand.

NEAT SHAPES, STRAIGHT LINES
Can’t draw in a straight line? Neither can we! Scribble helps you draw perfect lines and shapes. Draw and pause without lifting your marker: you’ll see your shape pop magically into a rectangle, circle, ellipse, parallelogram, trapezoid, triangle or straight line.

FREE FOR GUESTS
Inviting people requires Scribble membership, but your guests join you for free. The membership subscription comes free for 2 weeks per monthly subscription, or 1 month per annual subscription. Drawing on your own is also free, and you can keep your whiteboards if you decide you don’t want to invite others anymore.

Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription auto-renews at the same price unless disabled in iTunes Account Settings 24 hours before the end of the period each month. You can go to scribble.cool/cancel for instructions to cancel your subscription and turn auto-renew off.

3.0 2022-08-31
Since launching 2.0 we've added a text tool, an image tool, grid paper, syncing across devices, shape correction, the lasso tool, multiple windows on iPad, and more. We’re celebrating our progress with a refreshed look for 3.0, including a new dynamic vaporwavy-poolside blobby background, a new tool tray, and… a new app icon that pays homage to the age-old tradition of doodling that S on our notebooks! Your collaborators on the web also have new tools to draw, type, move, scale, and rotate.

2.31 2022-05-31
Now you can type on the whiteboard!
*:・゚*:・゚ ~~~~ May-Li and Bridger ~~~ *:・゚*:・゚
2.30.1 2022-02-07
New: place images directly onto your board. Tap the new image icon in the toolbar, then take a photo or select from your photo library. Move the image to where you want it, or use two fingers to rotate or scale. Tap outside the image once you’re done. Draw overtop to label a diagram, or add eyeballs, moustaches and pipes.

The tool tray is also adjusted to a more efficient layout, with a separate color for each tool and updated icons.

2.29 2021-10-25
Now you can use SharePlay to quickly and securely invite everyone on a FaceTime call to whiteboard together.

New: grid paper! Choose from quad, dot grid, isometric, isometric dot, music staff, lined, and engineering options. Customize color, spacing, and paper size, in case you need to print later (we know some of you do). There are viewable page breaks, too.

You can control your sheets by renaming, deleting, and exporting specific sheets to PDF. Enjoy getting gridiculous!

New tools! Use the fill tool to leave lots of color. It is great for charts and shapes. Use the fine tip pen when you zoom in and need teeny tiny details. The laser pointer also has different colors now. The web version is much faster - get a link to your boards on the web if you haven't tried it yet!

The astute observer might be wondering what happened to v1.15. I wish I had a good explanation.
1.14 2018-02-09
Fast for everyone! Now Scribble uses can use two graphics technologies - OpenGL or Metal. The last version made things fast for devices that supported Metal. This version uses OpenGL for similar speedups on all other devices, like the iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad Mini or iPhone 5.
1.13 2018-02-02
Faster. Way faster.

Scribble now uses Metal, Apple's super-efficient graphics stuff. Writing, scrolling, and especially zooming should be much smoother. This applies to devices that support Metal, which is anything released after 2013. Even if you don't have Metal there are fixes that should make it a little faster for you too.

Rock on with Metal

Holy smokes a lot of people have tried Scribble. Hi everyone! Apple, thanks for featuring us. We love you too. <3

For all the new folks we've got some great new features:
- Who dat? If you are using an iPad you can see the name of whoever is drawing.
- Tap 'Share Link' and then use Airdrop. It is pretty sweet.
- Apps that export PDFs, like Google Drive, can send them straight to Scribble then you can draw all over 'em.
- Drawing a rainbow? Long press on the color picker and it will stay open for fast color switching.
- Wanna feel popular? Turn on push notifications and we'll let you know when someone invites you to a new whiteboard.
- Sorry for the crash, but if you are on iOS 9 or 10 we've fixed a bug when you tried to attach a file.
1.11 2018-01-09
Draw a face! We've made a fun way to try out Scribble and see your drawings in Safari. We are also looking for examples to show on our website. If you'd like, use the export button to email a pdf of your drawing to faces@scribbletogether.com.

Other improvements:
- Link your email with your account. Soon you'll be able to use that email to recover lost whiteboards or sync your devices.
- Fade away the dotted area for writing titles.
- Fix a crash on iOS 9 and iOS 10 when sharing a link.
- It is easier to accept a request when someone is joining your whiteboard.
1.10 2018-01-05
As promised, Scribble now requires a subscription to invite people into a board with you. Your collaborators don't need their own subscription. Every other feature is free to use yourself. You can still try out the app with a free trial. If this new price doesn't work for you please email help@scribbletogether.com. We want Scribble to be available to everyone!

This release also has a few improvements.
- Sharing a link to a board is even easier.
- Your color selection is remembered when you switch boards.
- We've improved a few icons including the laser pointer.
1.9 2017-12-22
Oh boy, so much new stuff! Need to copy a link to a board? Now you can. Got a pdf you'd like to share? Try out drag-n-drop. Made a mistake? Correct it with the better undo or finer eraser.

Scribble also had a new haircut and is looking *so good*.
1.8 2017-12-05
The ink has been improved to be smoother and faster. Our colors are better too!

Working with PDFs and images is also easier.

Of course, no release would be complete without various bug fixes. We've got 'em too.
1.7 2017-11-07
This version adds support for the iPhone X. Mine should be arriving in the mail any day now...
1.6 2017-10-31

1.4 2017-10-09

Also, for Pencil users the marker tool now allows for finer detail. Older devices can join the party too now that we've added iOS 9.1 compatibility.
