About Scribe Korean

Scribe Korean has been intentionally designed to teach mastery of Korean vocabulary - you learn all common Korean words. Using a unique study method, words are remembered with related-sounding words, so that in real-life situations you are able to contextually select the correct word, even if you missed the tone. Study Korean this way, and your mind's ability to select the correct word in context increases 10 fold. Just think about it: for every similar sound, you will know the 4 or 5 possible popular words it could be.

Scribe Korean quietly saturates your mind with all the correct linkages to learn Korean to a better-than-native level. This is the fastest known method to the learn Korean language, by focusing on learning through Korean games.

This was going to be a minor update. You know, fix a few bugs, improve usability here and there. Those Setting toggles weren't so easy to see previously. And then I was going to wait until iOS was updated, so that you'd have support for that too.

But then I got to thinking, while we're all waiting, why not add a few more features. So I started working on one of the items that's been on the TODO list of customer recommendations for far too long.. Exam Mode. You can now do a multiple choice test through your entire level at any time.

And then I got to thinking, a few people have wanted some landscape orientation support, because there are those of you who swing that way, and that's cool, so we went ahead and did that one too.

And then I started learning Thai. I don't know Thai, but I was just putting the finishing touches on the Scribe Thai app, and realised I needed to use it to test everything. But Thai didn't make much sense to me, as I didn't have any background in it. What I needed was a super-mini grammar guide, to condense the basics of the language down into 30 or so phrases. And then I started thinking.. What if ALL apps had a super-mini grammar guide?? It was ingenious. So all the translators got going on perfecting that task, we set up recordings, and we went and added that.

And then I was thinking REALLY out of the box. What if we added a button to make the iPhone fly! Yup. Fly. Mini iPhone jet packs. So we got working on that, and got a demo going, and managed to get our iPhone to fly across the English Channel! It was awesome. But then we realised there were flight restrictions. iPhones aren't allowed to fly unmanned. FAA rules. So we had to remove that feature. Sorry about that.

But we do love our customers, so if you want this feature added back in, mail us! support@guiix.com .. yup, just right there. We'll always receive your email. And we'll always reply. So if it doesn't seem like we replied, check the email's spam folder. Spam folders get hungry and eat our messages.

Oh, and one final thought. These Scribe apps aren't very well known yet. If you've seen our facebook + twitter groups, you've probably noticed they're pretty small. What we'd like to do is to boost that up, to help people find out about the Scribe series and get a nice community of learners together. So please check that out. Especially if you want the iPhone to take flight again.

Peace and love,
Henry.

ps. About Version 2.02:
A few small bugs survived our annual pest control. Now we're using Extreme Strength bug spray. That'll teach those bugs.
