สำนักงานส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล (Depa)ได้จัดทำ แอปพลิเคชั่น “See Thru Thailand” ขึ้นมาเพื่อเป็นการส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจการท่องเที่ยวโดยนำเทคโนโลยี (Augmented Reality) เทคโนโลยีเสมือนจริง ที่ผสานเอาโลกแห่งความเป็นจริง (Real) เข้ากับโลกเสมือน (Virtual)ซึ่งภายในแอปพลิเคชั่นประกอบไปด้วยข้อมูลท่องเที่ยว 10 จังหวัด ได้แก่ เชียงใหม่ , ลำปาง , บุรีรัมย์ , อุบลราชธานี , เพชรบุรี , กาญจนบุรี , จันทบุรี , ตราด , ตรัง และพังงา โดยมีข้อมูลครบถ้วนภายใน แอปพลิเคชั่นเดียว อาทิ แผนที่, ที่พัก, สถานที่ท่องเที่ยว, ร้านอาหาร, สถานที่สำคัญ, สินค้าและบริการ อื่นๆ ประชาชนทั่วไปสามารถดาวโหลดมาใช้งานได้ทั้งในระบบ IOS และ Android โดยไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่ายได้แล้ววันนี้
