It's based on the WHO Child Growth Standards Z-scores and percentile so we can properly and accurately show age/sex specific growth charts for weight/height/BMI/head circumference as well as Weight for Length. Also supports growth charts for up to 19 years old.
You may find this by going to Vitals > Growth. Simply input the patient’s data like usual (weight, height, and head circumference) and see them reflected in the growth chart.
You can now also use the patient's name as the watermark on the prescription with this new update! We’ve also fixed some refresh bugs for some screens.

We've been working around the clock on new enhancements to existing features while adding a new way for you to be able to distribute information to your patients more efficiently.
In this update, we're introducing the Education Materials module.
A strong doctor-patient relationship relies on effective communication, which encompasses various factors. Patients often express satisfaction and happiness with their doctor when they have a clear understanding of their condition and receive supplementary educational materials to further their knowledge after consultations.
These factors, combined with the proliferation of fake news out there, have prompted the development of the new Educational Materials module within SeriousMD.
In essence, this new module provides you with a convenient way to share meaningful, relevant, and accurate content with your precious patients.
You can save your own content that you want your patients to receive and review as part of their treatment. Maybe you have images or PDF files with more information about their disease or condition and you'd like to easily share it with your patients, you can now do so with just a couple clicks! Help them avoid the fake news out there. There's so much potential in this new feature and we hope you're as excited as we are for this update!
There are also a ton of other enhancements included in this update, including:
* Optimizations on how image notes are handled to prevent it from lagging or crashing the app
* Launch the patient profile from the unconfirmed appointment view by long pressing the avatar or name of the patient

Have clinics in multiple cities? Perhaps you wanted to print a different design on prescriptions for patients in another city? You can do that now.
*NEW THING #3 - SOAP Templates*
You can now create SOAP templates. Attach notes, images and even prescriptions. The next time you pick and create a new SOAP, it will pre-load everything you need. You now spend even less time creating notes, and you'll have even more time for your patients.
*NEW THING #4 - Vitals Categories*
Tracking your patients' results? Is your table made up of hundreds of rows? No need to fret, you can now fully control and group tests together. #FTW
*NEW THING #5 - LOTS of SOAP Improvements*
1. New update to the ICD Database
2. Improved Objective Area (Remarks already open and new buttons to add text notes, etc.)
3. Improved Plan area (You can now load your prescription templates without having to add 1 medicine first. The same goes with your lab requests.)
4. Make your text inputs uniform for all fields. Notice the 3 horizontal lines in the text box? Tap on that. You can pre-populate that field with common issues and notes in the Settings area. Use the shortcut keys (CMD + "+" ) to add a new entry on the fly while inside SOAP. Now that your fields are uniform, your reports will now make way more sense.

- We added a delete encounter button
- Major optimization to our sync technology

This is a patch that includes fixes for the last major update.

This is the 2nd to the last major update for Version 1.0 of SeriousMD. Yes, it’s finally come to that point. We’re running out of version numbers with all these releases.
Seriously, the app is now so far from what it was when we first released it. A lot of the things were not even considered in the original design. That’s why we’re re-imagining what SeriousMD should be for Version 2.0.
After getting to know all of you, we think we can help you be even more efficient. We hear it everyday:
“You’ve cut down my consult time to 15 minutes!” “I can now see 30 patients easily!” “I get home in time for dinner!”
Well, let’s just say that we have something big in store for you to help you optimize your workflow even more.
Anyway, here’s what’s included in this MAJOR update.
**Permissions and Sub-Users**
You asked for it, now it’s here! We’ve been working on this for a long time and it’s finally out.
Today, you can now enable access to your sub-users on iOS and enable permission limits.
- Don’t want your secretary to have access to the notes? Done! - Don’t want your nurse to have access to appointments? Done!
Customize it the way you need it to fit your process in the clinic!
Best of all? If you lose internet, you can keep the data on the iOS device and sync it once the internet is back on. That’s less loading time you have to deal with on the browser. BAM!
Oh, wait! There’s more!
**Calendar Settings!**
There are a ton of things added to the calendar but we’ll just mention the main ones you’ll care about.
- Your calendar can now start at the time you want. - You can add color to your events! - Filter what you only want to see on your calendar. Don’t want to see your clinic schedule but just see patient appointments and events? Done! Just uncheck it in the Settings. - Do you run your practice strictly with time blocks? Noticed that our calendar couldn’t accommodate 5 minute (or so) time blocks? Starting with this update, you can now adjust that to fit how you run your practice!
**Reason for Visit - Now with Colors**
Your queue will now shower you with colors! Did you already customize your “reasons for visit” in the settings? Today, you can add color to each one.
It will help you easily classify patient visits just by looking at the color. Might not seem useful right now, but just try it, you’ll love it.

This is the 2nd to the last major update for Version 1.0 of SeriousMD.
Yes, it’s finally come to that point. We’re running out of version numbers with all these releases.
Seriously, the app is now so far from what it was when we first released it. A lot of the things were not even considered in the original design. That’s why we’re re-imagining what SeriousMD should be for Version 2.0.
After getting to know all of you, we think we can help you be even more efficient. We hear it everyday:
“You’ve cut down my consult time to 15 minutes!” “I can now see 30 patients easily!” “I get home in time for dinner!”
Well, let’s just say that we have something big in store for you to help you optimize your workflow even more.
Anyway, here’s what’s included in this MAJOR update.
**Permissions and Sub-Users**
You asked for it, now it’s here! We’ve been working on this for a long time and it’s finally out.
Today, you can now enable access to your sub-users on iOS and enable permission limits.
- Don’t want your secretary to have access to the notes? Done! - Don’t want your nurse to have access to appointments? Done!
Customize it the way you need it to fit your process in the clinic!
Best of all? If you lose internet, you can keep the data on the iOS device and sync it once the internet is back on. That’s less loading time you have to deal with on the browser. BAM!
Oh, wait! There’s more!
**Calendar Settings!**
There are a ton of things added to the calendar but we’ll just mention the main ones you’ll care about.
- Your calendar can now start at the time you want. - You can add color to your events! - Filter what you only want to see on your calendar. Don’t want to see your clinic schedule but just see patient appointments and events? Done! Just uncheck it in the Settings. - Do you run your practice strictly with time blocks? Noticed that our calendar couldn’t accommodate 5 minute (or so) time blocks? Starting with this update, you can now adjust that to fit how you run your practice!
**Reason for Visit - Now with Colors**
Your queue will now shower you with colors! Did you already customize your “reasons for visit” in the settings? Today, you can add color to each one.
It will help you easily classify patient visits just by looking at the color. Might not seem useful right now, but just try it, you’ll love it.
**SOAP Printing**
It’s finally here! Print it out and attach it when it’s needed.
— Minor But Notable Things:— **RX in Prescriptions** We improved printing with custom headers and footers last time but omitted the RX sign due to time constraints just so we could release it in time. Today, we’ve brought it back.
**Alphabetical Prescription Favorites** Your prescription favorites are a mess...not anymore! Today, it’s alphabetically organized. Shoutout to Doc Glenn Guevara for this request.
