Contractors spend thousands of dollars on tools that are typically expensed as purchased. They get stolen, lost, procured for personal use and who knows what else! Often tools are hoarded and never returned, so contractors keep buying the same tool again and again despite tools sitting in trucks unused.
Most tool tracking systems do a fantastic job checking them in/out, but are lousy once they've left the warehouse. ShareMyToolbox is simple and different. First and foremost, we designed the system as a mobile platform. Second, we stay laser-focused on doing two things well:

Say goodbye to worrying about where your tools vanished off to and say hello to our cool new feature: Scan to Accept + GPS Tagging!
Here's the deal: when you scan an Item's barcode or QR code, ShareMyToolbox gets to work capturing the exact GPS location and throws it up on a map, like magic! Borrowed something? Just scan its asset tag when it arrives and we'll make the acceptance process stupid easy! Heck, even our marketing guy can figure it out.
Now, for all you Admins out there, if you want to make sure everyone's capturing these locations, you can require Scan to Accept for each Connection through the Web Portal. And Items without a barcode aren't left out of the party. They still get their own Accept & Decline buttons.
App users, do us a solid and allow GPS permissions. That's how the magic happens, and we promise not to lead you into any dark alleys.
Happy scanning, everyone! Let's keep those tools accounted for, and don't forget to have a laugh or two along the way!

But wait, there's more … GPS is on its way! In this release you'll spot a map in the Item profile when a return warehouse with coordinates is assigned. In future releases, we'll be adding additional functionality to capture precise locations of all your tools, no matter where they are.

We cranked up the widget factory! ShareMyToolbox now has several widgets, making it even easier to see your Dashboard, Task count, and Audit requests from your device’s Home Screen. Long press your Home Screen and tap + to add the new widgets.

Imagine trying to log-in and all you see is our logo. Yeah, that's no good. We fixed that issue and got rid of bugs some were experiencing when switching accounts.
