About Sight Words and Spelling Games
More than just flashcards! Children write, read and play as they learn sight words. Sight word lists are included for kindergarten and first grade and you can easily add your own word lists. Great for parents and teachers alike!
This sight words app will help your student or child learn important sight words, and it can be easily customized with new word lists such as weekly spelling lists. You can also organize your lists into custom groups—for different students, classes, levels, and so forth.
This app makes learning fun as children engage in these colorful and interactive activities:
* RAINBOW WORDS: Write the sight or spelling word with multiple colors using the guide letters given.
* MATCH THE WORD: Create the word with letter cards, using the example word, and then…
* BUILD THE WORD: Create the word using the letter cards, this time without an example.
* TOUCH AND SAY: Find the target word in a list of mixed up and different words.
* STAR WORD BLACKOUT: Play a bingo-inspired game with the word list.
* WORD MEMORY: Play a matching game with the word list.
This app is self-correcting, and provides immediate feedback using sounds and colors to let students know if the word is correct. When students finish the activities for all of the words on the list, they are rewarded with fireworks!

• Fixed: if the last custom list group was deleted, it would mysteriously reappear. Now it won’t! Custom groups are great for different children, classes, levels, and so forth.

Do you have lots of spelling word lists? Thanks to a request from a teacher who wanted to be able to group lists, this version allows you to make custom groups or folders for your lists. You can make groups for different children, classes, levels, and so forth.

- This version supports iOS 11. Thanks for your patience!
- In the word tracing activity, the word will be spelled out loud.
- In the "Build the Word" activity, each letter is pronounced when it is tapped.
