Simple Grocery List is a free app to help you keep track of all your grocery item needs...simply and easily.
Did your favorite grocery list app start adding more features than you can shake a stick at? Do you now get daily deals, customized flyers, friend integration, reminders, and item scanning? We're proud to say that Simple Grocery List contains none of those features. We are the mobile equivalent of that grocery list that you used to keep attached to your refrigerator. Simple Grocery List is as easy as Sunday morning.
Just because we tend to be considered 'old fashioned', doesn't mean we aren't packing features to help make you life easier. Simple Grocery List keeps track of your items behind the scenes, and presents those used most frequently when you want to add one. It also comes loaded with the most common grocery items, to help speed up your input. Check off items as you add them to your cart. Delete items individually, or the entire list at once. Rearrange items as you see fit, after all, you know your store best. Email your list to yourself or others from your device. Mailed lists can be imported by tapping the icon in the received mail message. Sync lists between iOS devices. Don't like the default theme? Multiple theme options are now available in the theme store.

Please be patient while this version updates your existing database. IT MAY TAKE SEVERAL MINUTES depending on your device. This is necessary for future iOS enhancements.
* Now you can sort your checked items to separate them from the unchecked. That way as you check items off your list, they can automatically be moved to the bottom. Press the sort button and select either Sort Alpha/Checked or Sort Tag/Checked.
* Some users have asked for new items to be capitalized. This can now be set as a default from your device setting app. Just look for the Grocery List entry.
* We will now periodically send you app News & Tips. If you would rather not have them automatically display, you can set the default from the device settings app.

1. Item Tag - each item can now have an associated item tag. Use it as you see fit...some users may want to use the tag as a category, others may want to use it to identify store aisle, the choice is yours.
2. List Sort - tap on the sort button (right next to the add item button) to sort items in your list. Items can be sorted alphabetically or by tag. Autosort is activated (button will display green) whenever you choose a sort type. If you rearrange items, autosort turns off.

Many users couldn't figure out how to delete a list (it's always been there...simply swipe the list on the 'Lists' screen)..so we added an 'edit' button. You can now more clearly delete and reorder lists.
Emailed lists now include a list document. iOS version 3.2 or greater will allow you to tap on the list document from within email and choose to open the list with the Simple Grocery List app. Easily import lists sent from other Simple Grocery List users.

Multiple Lists!
Now you can add/edit/delete multiple lists from within the app. We're still committed to "keeping it simple", no complicated set-up is involved. Simply add and name your list..viola!
Usage Tip: Tap on the list header (title on the list) for the email sharing option as well as list renaming.
