Onze school vormt tot 2020 een scholengemeenschap samen met 4 andere scholen uit Maasmechelen.
Het schoolbestuur sloot samen met de volgende schoolbesturen een akkoord:
* VZW Katholiek Basisonderwijs Eisden-Tuinwijk, Kastanjelaan 24, Maasmechelen
* Parochiaal schoolcomité Leut VZW, Steenakkerstraat 8, Maasmechelen
* Katholiek Basisonderwijs Eisden-Dorp VZW, Langstraat 30 Maasmechelen.

De gevormde scholengemeenschap kreeg als naam VRIJE BASISSCHOLEN MAASMECHELEN-NOORD (afgekort VBMN).
De scholengemeenschap heeft als doel het onderwijs te coördineren en te begeleiden, overeenkomstig de van kracht zijnde wettelijke en reglementaire bepalingen en binnen het kader van de afgesloten overeenkomst. Door de oprichting van deze scholengemeenschap wordt er extra stimuli toegekend. In overleg met de schoolbesturen van de verschillende scholen zal beslist worden waar deze uren aan besteed zullen worden (o.a.zorgcoördinatie, preventie-adviseur, ICT, uitbouw scholengemeenschap…).
