About SKF VibroMeter

The SKF vibration measurement application provides only informative measurement data to show the principles of vibration measurement. It is not a professional measurement tool.

The purpose of the application is to provide fast and easy way to measure vibration caused by bearing failures using the possibilities of smart phones. The measurement values are just for your information and are not replacing measurements made with calibrated industrial grade measurement devices.

Functions

By selecting the Measurement tab you can return to the basic function, from the settings, or previously saved measurements.

Using the timer function you can delay the start of the measurement with 5 or 10 seconds, avoiding false measurement datas caused by tapping the start button or placing the device to the measured surface.

On the Data tab previously saved measurements can be browsed and opened.

On this tab you can change the basic settings of the application, like duration of measurement, correction factor or do calibration in stationary state.
