About Smart Domestic Workers

Smart Domestic Workers จัดทำขึ้น ด้วยความร่วมมือของมูลนิธิเพื่อการพัฒนาแรงงานและอาชีพ และ เครือข่ายลูกจ้างทำงานบ้านในประเทศไทย โดยการสนับสนุนงบประมาณจาก IFRC เพื่อเผยแพร่ข้อมูลข่าวสารที่ จำเป็นแก่ลูกจ้างทำงานบ้านข้ามชาติในประเทศไทย เช่น นโยบายการอนุญาตให้แรงงานข้ามชาติเข้ามาทำงานในประเทศไทย การคุ้มครองทางกฎหมาย การประกันสุขภาพ สุขภาพความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน รวมทั้งหน่วยงานที่ให้ความช่วยเหลือแก่แรงงานข้ามชาติต่าง ๆ เป็นต้น

มูลนิธิเพื่อการพัฒนาแรงงานและอาชีพ หรือที่รู้จักกันในชื่อ HomeNet Thailand จดทะเบียนก่อตั้งเป็นทางการในปี พ.ศ 2540 เพื่อทำงานร่วมกับแรงงานนอกระบบ กลุ่มผู้ทำการผลิตที่บ้าน (Home-based workers) โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อพัฒนาความมั่นคงทางเศรษฐกิจ และทางสังคมของแรงงานนอกระบบ
