- Strava integration! You can now automatically upload your new rides to Strava and share them with your friends in your Strava community.
- Full compatibility with iOS12.
- Fixed : Some users noticed discrepancies between SmartHalo rides and the exported Apple Health rides. This was due to low accuracy geo-points that were exported in Apple Health but discarded in SmartHalo. We now use the same filtering mechanism when exporting.
- Fixed : Fitness Today screen was always displaying the ride data following in kilometres even if users chose miles. Values are now displayed in miles if you have set your preferences to imperial.
- Fixed : Sometimes the new feature pop-up was displayed with no content. This doesn’t happen anymore.

Introducing Alternate Routes! Now when you search for a destination, we suggest more than one path to your destination, since there’s not always a single best option for cyclists. You can choose between the Safest, Fastest, Flatest and our Recommended path, a all around balanced path that combines the best of the three previous types.
Additionally, our Halo will now dim itself a bit when it gets dark to make sure you’re not blinded by its beautiful colors at night.
We also added some intro animations when you set Fitness goals.

We’ve made a big overhaul to Navigation with the introduction of Google Maps! This means:
-Better search: you’ll notice that the search engine powered by Google now finds way more places you might be looking for.
-Points of Interest: you can now tap on a point of interest on the map to get directions to it (zoom in to find more of those!)
-Updated directions: directions now run on an improved engine, expect more improvements in the upcoming months!
-Better favorites management: you can now see your favorites on the map. You can also delete them from the “+” menu in the navigation screen.

Ahoy-hoy! In this release, we’re adding Apple Health integration, which has been asked for a while by iOS users. You’ll be able to sync your data between SmartHalo and the Apple Health app, which you can then use to visualize your cycling metrics. COMPASS MODE
When only the destination matters, SmartHalo can point you towards your destination instead of giving precise turn-by-turn directions. How you get there is entirely up to you. As you get closer to your destination, the pointer progressively turns greener. Switch to this mode by tapping on the gear icon in the navigation header.
IMPROVED FITNESS TRACKING START MECHANISM
From now on, if you walk besides your bike, fitness tracking won’t track it; it only starts when you actually start riding. It’ll also filter out the end of your ride. No more low average speeds!
