About Space Pioneer
The “Very Old Friends” update is here, and it comes with a new rpg classes system. You can now play as the all-rounder Pioneer, the Mars born, defense-focused Heavy, or Light the alien shooter.
What are these classes for? Well they give you different playstyles, particularly in multiplayer modes. In deathmatch you can take advantage of their unique stats and weapon preferences to outplay your opponents. Each class also has a set of passive bonuses which affect all players in your crew and make it easier to be the ultimate space shooter...

The Federation was recently informed that some pioneers were experiencing data loss related to connecting and disconnecting their game with their Facebook account. This anomaly is now fixed, your accounts are safe.

It came to the Federation’s attention that some pioneers were having some issues with offers not displaying correctly. This has now been fixed. We have also deployed a range of optimizations which will make your experience smoother, hence it is high time to go back to alien hunting.

The federation communication systems are now online - you can contact other pioneers via our forums or direct messaging system. We have also implemented an alert system, so you will get an indicator when you receive a message. Join us by pressing the “social hub” button from the galactic map menu.

Pioneers, mysterious buildings of a very advanced civilisation have been discovered. We need your support to push the alien hordes back in this new event - join the fight!
Our engineers have already restored a prototype weapon found in these ruins: the Dragon’s Breath. A large supply of “fireworks” explosives was also discovered, you can use them as gear. They pack quite a punch, so be careful.
