If you want to see your distance traveled today, you need an iPhone 5s, 6 or 6 plus.
Everything else will work on any device.

This App gives you a quick look at your current speed, altitude and heading.
A nice blue arrow is always pointing to north, so you never loose orientation (also works in Today Widget).

This App needs no internet connection, so you can even see this information without reception.
