1. The app will now auto-switch between City and Hwy limits automatically. This can be enabled in Settings and is OFF by default. Specifically, if the highest city limit is exceeded by 20 units(Km,Miles) it will automatically switch to Hwy. Conversely, if the speed drops below the lowest city limit, it will switch to City.

This is a major update that now supports the DUAL XGPS150/160 external GPS. I chose to support these because of their reasonable price and very good performance. You can find them on Amazon.
You may select the external GPS in the app Settings tab. Please follow the manufacturer’s instructions for connecting the GPS via Bluetooth. Once connected and selected as the data source, you can enjoy 10Hz performance that is far superior to the internal GPS found in your phone. Once you’ve experienced it, you will never use the internal GPS again, at least with this app or any app that can handle an external GPS stream.
Other changes
If the external GPS is selected, its connection status and battery level are reported on the Home tab. GPS accuracy is reported using the DOP scale.
In the Settings tab you have the ability to select the logging rate (for recording trips) when using the external GPS. It’s set at 1 second, which is more than adequate. If you require more granularity you can change it there. Desired GPS Accuracy is ignored when the external GPS is selected as the data source.
The Accelerate functionality has been moved out of Settings to the 3rd tab and the Manual is now in the Settings tab. The Accelerate function performs exceptionally well when the external GPS is connected. Don’t bother with the internal GPS - it’s just too slow for measuring acceleration accurately.
Two new 3D Touch shortcuts allow for quick selection of the onboard or external GPS.
Other
Many bug fixes, improvements and internal system changes to make the app more reliable.
The Manual has not been updated yet. It will be soon.
