- Landscape Mode for Tablets: We’ve heard your feedback! Our app now supports landscape mode on larger screens like iPads and “large” Android devices, enhancing your experience and usability. This is perfect for giving demos when streaming your screen to a larger one.
Bug Fixes:
- We identified and fixed an issue where clicks on spots weren’t being registered in certain confined spaces.
- We’ve also rectified a problem with AR image tracking that was occurring in some instances, particularly with default images of non-standard sizes.

This Is For The Creators!
This update is all about creating 3D presentations yourself. We are launching the Fectar Studio Assistant. This feature in the app enables you to create amazing scenes, without any technical difficulties. You can pick up content and place it anywhere. Save and your interactive 3D presentation is immediately changed.
And we added a whole new way of placing content at the right position relative to a room or to an object: the Universal Anchor. Now you can fill an entire room with digital data. Add digital information to a machine or a painting. Or - hang on - create your own Augmented Reality Escape Room! Yes, you can! Stay tuned for more information.
And because Fectar Is For The Creators, our creators get more attention with a new creators name display at the content description page.

We are proud of the name SpotOn, but we quickly realized that there are already too many companies out there with the same name. And here it is: a new type of 3D content can now be imported into SpotOn. We opened up a whole new source of 3D content by supporting GLTF-format for 3D content.

This is a big one! Working together in Augmented Reality, with your smart phone (if we had audio here, you would now hear cheering people at the background). You can now share a space with others and you can see what they are seeing. Think of applications such as remote assistance or meet up in AR with your customer to go through a new design of a new product before it is manufactured. Or in a classroom teacher and kids experience a topic together. And so on and so on.
Whats's more, you can now rotate the ghosted plane and the short code is now visible on the space card. And we keep on improving the total experience.

It is now possible to edit your own AR Experiences with your smartphone. It is so easy, you can just drag and drop content in Augmented Reality.
