1) In the previous version, we asked for "always on" GPS. This concerned some users, and we understand. In this version you can now choose when to use GPS: always in the background (recommended if you want to be alerted you're in a new Spotted by Locals city you haven't purchased yet), or only when using app. We do not store ANY information about your location ever. GPS use on the background uses less than 1% of your battery.
2) Our map software provider did a big upgrade - all maps are now faster & more reliable
3) We did some small tweaks to make your app experience smoother & faster.

1) If you allow us, the app tracks where you are located (all anonymous of course - we do not store this information anywhere) so we can notify you when you're in a new Spotted by Locals city. This consumes very little extra battery power. You can turn this off.
