About SSB Flex
SSB Flex ist the new, innovative on-demand mobility service of Stuttgarter Straßenbahnen AG.
It complements the public transport service offered in Stuttgart. Start and end your journey whenever and whereever you want. Easy and simple with only one click: A SSB Flex car will pick you up at a starting point nearby.
Further information:
- SSB Flex is not a taxi, but an innovative on-demand offer. Your driver will pick you up at a starting point nearby at a desired time and drives you to a virtual stop close to your destination. The app shows you where exactly you can find your start and end point (usually less than 200 meters away) after you have entered your trip details.
- Making use of so-called ridepooling you’ll share your ride with other passengers driving in a similar direction. This mechanism lowers your costs and helps the environment at the same time!
- Every journey has a different price. It will be calculated depending on distance and number of other passengers. Owners of VVS day tickets or VVS time-tickets pay a discount price using SSB Flex.

- Combine your SSB Flex trip with the public transport offer of VVS
- Book your SSB Flex and VVS-ticket easily using your smartphone
- Monitor your trip at any time using real-time data
Starting from August 1st SSBFlex will serve all of Stuttgart during the times of
- Sunday to Thursday from 06:00 p.m. until 02:00 a.m. the next day
- Friday and Saturday from 06:00 p.m. until 04:00 a.m. the next day.
