Well, this is sort of a good news, bad news release.
The bad news - Stacks no longer syncs with Goodreads accounts
The good news - Add your own cover images! Scanning barcodes now works much, much better.
The Bad News
Unfortunately, we have been having too many problems with Goodreads's service for third party apps to continue to offer syncing with a Goodreads account. There were also restrictions on what third party apps could do with it that limited its usefulness. For instance, you may have noticed that if you synced with a Goodreads account, you couldn't delete books in Stacks. Goodreads didn't allow third-party apps to do this, which was very frustrating! All of the books you currently have in Stacks will still be there, the app will just no longer sync changes from your Goodreads account. If syncing with Goodreads is really important to you, you will probably want to use Goodreads's official app. Sorry that we had to do this!
The Good News
Much requested, you can now add cover images for books that do not have them!
Barcode scanning is now much faster, and works much more consistently (read: it actually works. Sorry about that.)
The UI has also been cleaned up a little, and some bugs were fixed.

BKSHLF is now Stacks, and there are a lot of new features as well!
NEW LAYOUT

- You can now swipe across books to quickly move them between stacks
SORT OPTIONS
- Much requested, it's now here! Organize your stacks by date added, title, author, or manually
(Manual reorganization is only available when not connected to a Goodreads account, due to Goodreads restrictions)
3D TOUCH
- Quick Actions let you add a book or scan a barcode directly from the home screen
GOODREADS
- Import books from your account without syncing Stacks with it
