Find upcoming & Live Now content across Facebook Live, Periscope, YouTube, Twitch, Mixer, and many more.
No more missed streams or tiresome browsing for something interesting to watch. We aggregate the best into Stream Time and put the focus on the content
This means that it doesn't matter where the content is being broadcast - we will let you know, and take you there!
In our quest to make it as easy as possible for you to find interesting content in Stream Time - we have enabled you to connect your existing social accounts.
When you connect your YouTube and Facebook account - if any Channels that you Subscribe to or Pages that you Like are already in Stream Time, you will automatically follow them and build your feed instantly :)
More to come, but this was a big one with lots of development and testing!!
All very necessary, but quite boring to the naked eye :)
Including a Guest View for those who just want to look around :)
There are many more exciting updates coming over the next few weeks, and our team of designers and developers are working hard to make Stream Time the best it can be!
We look forward to helping you find interesting Live content.
Team Stream Time.
A more exciting update next time, we promise :)
And of course our broadcaster family continues to grow. Stream Time just gets better and better! Woop!
As usual, we've also fixed some bugs.
We’ve turned our broadcast popups into full page items to accommodate long titles and descriptions as well as allowing images to stand out on their own without overlaid text. Nice. You’ll also notice a new ‘Share’ button, so if you find something you like then tell the world about it.
Finally, check out our Popular Broadcasters list within the Search tab. There are some great new broadcasters for you to follow across sports, entertainment, online gaming and music.
There’s not a huge amount to shout about technically in this version - mostly performance enhancements and UI tweaks (we can’t help it).
We did remove a screen which cheekily asked you to invite your Facebook friends before even trying out the app for yourself. We feel the shame, but hey, its all part of learning. You can still invite your friends via the settings screen. Go on, do it! We dare you.
And whilst you’re doing good deeds, please rate us in the AppStore. It really does help us.
Finally, remember how we told you that Trev was busy getting broadcasters into Stream Time? Well praise be, he hath provided broadcasters, lots of them! Go check them out.
We also corrected an instruction for users adding their YouTube stream links (we need the whole URL link, not just your username. Thanks YouTube!).
So what’s in this update? Sorry to say it’s just the usual boring stuff, bug fixes, performance enhancements and some UI tweaks and a fidget spinner (actually that last one’s not true).
Stick around because this app is only going to get better. Trev’s been busy talking to broadcasters - you should see how many flat white coffees he’s gone through this week.
Don’t forget to follow Stream Time within the app and set reminders for our weekly updates (thanks for watching Mum).
