Elections are won by the candidates who get the most supporters to vote at the polls. It’s as simple as that. With Strike List GOTV (Get Out The Vote) candidates can increase their voter turnout by several percentage points and increase the chances of winning the election. Strike List GOTV is available for any elected office in the United States. Using Strike List GOTV can be the difference between winning and losing an election.

Here’s how Strike List GOTV helps your candidate win on election day:

1. Strike List GOTV includes the full voter file for your district. Well before election day campaign management selects the targeted voters most likely to vote for your candidate.

2. On election day your volunteer poll watchers at the precinct polling places open the Strike List GOTV app on their iOS mobile devices. Strike List GOTV contains the full voter file for the precinct. Each time a voter exits the polling station a poll watcher instantly looks up the voter in the app and checks off that they have voted.

3. Calling volunteers use Strike List GOTV on their computer or mobile devices to call your targeted likely voters who have not yet voted.

4.Door-to-door volunteers use the Strike List GOTV app to personally visit your targeted likely voters who have not yet voted.

5. Campaign staff uses Strike List GOTV to monitor all activity from your poll-watchers, calling volunteers and door-to-door volunteers in real time and assign volunteers where they are needed the most.

This Strike List GOTV functionality allows the campaign to focus GOTV efforts on election day only on voters who have not already voted and are likely to support the candidate. This increase in efficiency on election day can mean the difference between winning and losing a closely-contested election.

Poll watchers assigned by their campaigns to specific voting precincts and polling locations can easily use Strike List to check off voters who have cast their ballots as they exit the polls.
