About T2T Pro: Travel Conversations
Communicate with someone in 30 different languages, without sharing a common language! With Talk to Translate, your words will be immediately translated and spoken in the language of the person you’re conversing with!
How does it work?
1. Speech recognition captures what you say
2. Text is translated into the language of the person you’re talking to
3. Text-to-speech reads the translated text
4. The person you’re talking to responds in their own language
5. The process repeats!
Your entire conversation history is available at a glance, similar to your favorite messaging apps.
Perfect for travelling or other environments where you don’t know the language.
Uses Siri for speech recognition, and Google Translate for the translation. Check out the app preview videos for a demonstration of how it works!
T2T: Travel Conversations can communicate in both directions in the following languages (* offline availability depends on your iOS device):
Arabic, *Chinese (Mandarin), *Chinese (Hong Kong), *Chinese (Taiwan), Czech, Danish, Dutch, German, Greek, English (Australia, Ireland, South Africa, *UK, *US), *Spanish (Mexico), *Spanish (Spain), Finnish, French (France), French (Canada), Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, *Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Portugal), *Portuguese (Brazil), Romanian, *Russian, Slovak, Swedish, Thai, *Turkish
Please note:
1. Talk to Translate is not responsible for the performance and availability of the services it relies on (Google Translate and Siri). This is a fun, and hopefully educational tool, but should not replace professional translation services.
2. Google Translate is based on written language. In some circumstances, oral and written communication can differ.
3. The list of languages is subject to change.
4. Always be mindful of your iOS device while in unfamiliar environments.
