We realized that chatting with your Tasker wasn’t the greatest experience. So, after a long and deep inner reflection, we decided to go up a few floors (technically it was just a video conference but going up the stairs makes for a better tale -- like climbing a mountain) to speak with our chat gurus on what we could do to make it better.
We suggested emojis. They closed their eyes and said “no”.
”What about adding gifs?” Nope, they said, rolling their eyes, “been there, done that”.
“What about stickers?”, we asked, “who doesn’t like puppy stickers?” They simply walked away at that one.
So, after going back to drink some chai tea and do a bit of virtual yoga to clear the mind, we had a revelation: why not just update the entire tool? The gurus finally smiled and nodded. Pure bliss!
Away we went back down the stairs (or down the mountain -- depending on how much you like this tale) to work hard and tirelessly to send out to the world a new and improved chat tool for you to talk to your Tasker. It took a lot of tea and some very interesting yoga poses, but we’re proud to release the end result. Stay tuned as we release further chat updates (and learn some more yoga poses).
P.S., we’ve also improved how you add your phone number to the app. Now you can tell us what country you’re in. No more guessing. But, if we’re honest, this update didn’t require any yoga, just some decent burgers and fries.
(And for those that are curious, the chat gurus are regular folk who just spend a lot of time chatting. Definitely more than the rest of us, sometimes a bit too much. You know who you are. Still, it made them perfect for the questions we had on improving the chat tool.)
