Tauron Musica Electronica Nova w wyjątkowym wydaniu pod tytułem Wzrastanie wpisuje się w hasło Europejskiej Stolicy Kultury – Wrocław 2016: Przestrzenie dla piękna.
Po raz pierwszy festiwal TAURON MEN zabrzmi i wzrośnie w nowych salach NFM. Program festiwalu został zbudowany wokół idei rodzenia się i powstawania, którą jednoznacznie pokaże instalacja Jeana-Luca Hervé, zmieniająca część betonowego placu przed NFM w rosnącą razem z muzyką zieleń. Instalacja ta jest powiązana z koncertem najsłynniejszego zespołu specjalizującego się w wykonywaniu muzyki współczesnej, paryskiego Ensemble intercontemporain, założonego w 1972 roku przez Pierre’a Bouleza.
