• Unified Communications: Our mobile applications allow for real-time texting and voice communication between clinicians. Multimedia messaging with photos, voice, and attachments are supported as are the ability to record and deliver voicemails when clinicians are busy with patients.

• Reliable Messaging: Telmediq provides a persistent and reliable messaging layer that is able to deliver time sensitive messages to users on a multitude of delivery channels. Telmediq detects when a user’s device has data connectivity issues, and routes the message accordingly based on a user’s network conditions and availability.

• Directory Integration: Telmediq is seamlessly deployed and managed through the organizations existing Microsoft Active Directory Infrastructure.

• Call Center Integration: The ability to send messages from the existing call center software and systems allows for rapid deployment with minimal disruption to existing call center workflow.

• On Call Scheduling: Telmediq has the leading on-call scheduling platform, including escalations, shared schedules, round-robin load balancing based on provider load, and more. In addition, we are the only communications platform that provides real-time integration with Amion, QGenda, Tangiers, as well as home grown and legacy scheduling platforms.

• Phone System Integration: Telmediq integrates with both SIP based and legacy (non SIP based) hospital phone platforms. We are the only communications provider that is able to support a transition strategy from legacy circuit switch PBX systems to the SIP domain.

• Clinical Integration: Telmediq provides Patient Centric Messaging – the ability to track all messages against a patient and have two-way synchronization with the EMR.

• Nurse Mobility: Existing nurse call systems can be mobilized for nurses through integration with room alarms as well as patient assignments.

We are pleased to share that we will be reintroducing the Telmediq App for Apple Watches. This release contains the following enhancements: receive notifications, read and respond to messages and view active threads in the inbox. When a user is on a Telmediq message they will now be able to see the title of the user’s they’re corresponding with. Additionally, users are now able to view a patient’s primary location in the patient details page if one has been set.

Telmediq

Link now iteratively tries Rover and Haiku links to see if one is valid. If both are valid, a choice is presented to the user prior to proceeding into linking application.

A copy me toggle has been added to the creation of a user routing rule.

If a user doesn’t have a mobile or alternate phone number in their profile and tries to make a call via mobile configuration, they will be prompted to enter a phone number. Additionally, the app will walk the user through where to input said number.

In addition to having the ability to end a conversation on the web console, we are bringing that same parody to the mobile applications. This functionality is only enabled when the user has the proper permission.

PFC

User is now able to view the read receipts of a patient conversation

Users can now view all conversations had with a patient to learn what has been communicated to them

If a patient opts-out by responding to a TMQ message by responding STOP, they are opted out of all messaging, video calling, and calling.

There is now no way to override the opt-out. If a patient types STOP, users are not able to opt them back in. They are also not able to be opted back in through the EMR.

Users are now able to go directly from a conversation with a patient to that patient’s details page

Logging In
• If the app has been closed, users can now decide how long is required before they need to re-enter their PIN using a custom time
• For shared device users, there is now the option to skip entering PIN, username, and email

• Users are now able to view their Telmediq messages during a call

User Avatar
• A user’s display icon is now shown beside them in a message thread. Clicking it will open their directory page, while holding it down allows the user to forward the thread or view message history.

Patient Family Communication General Changes
• If a patient has opted out of receiving automated messages, users will not be able to call the patient
• If a patient has opted out of receiving automated messages, Opted Out will be displayed in orange
• If it is outside of a patient’s preferred contact window, the time will be displayed in orange
• When talking to a patient or family member, the user will be shown a banner in the message thread letting them know

Video Permissions
• New permission set in Patient/Family Communication regarding the ability to start video chats
- Can invite patients to video visits
- Can invite relations of a patient to video visits
Attach Patient
• If user has View Patient Admin permission, they can click Attach Patient and search the All Patients list now. This allows the user to save a SmartAnswer voicemail to a patient, and contact them from that voicemail

Patient Family Communication

This release introduces a suite of Patient and Family Communication Features (Perfectserve PFC). Users will not see these features unless their organization purchases and implements the PFC module in Telmediq. This module allows for automatic messaging, such as appointment reminders, as well as user-to-patient and user-to-family secure conversations, notification templates, and video calls.

1. Patient Filters - Patient searches can now have filters set and saved to help focus the patient list to the current needed scope.
