About The Candidate
Welcome to The Candidate !
This app has been developed in case you have gotten tired of attending endless campaign appearances of various candidates, waiting around while eating franks and greasy fries, and then listening to some canned speech.
Now you can avoid all that - and let your iPhone be the candidate of your choice.
Just pick your favorite political leaning (or, for entertainment attend the other guy's rally).
You can choose pure text or speech output as well (my apologies for the speaker's accent).
During the speech you can comment on the speaker's performance by pressing the thumbs up or down button. In the standard mode this does not change anything, except for perhaps relieving you of some penned up frustrations.
You can, however, choose the "flexible candidate" option. In this case, the speaker will try to veer to the right or left, depending on your approval or disapproval, while he/she is speaking. Given the average candidate's usual behavior, this mode might actually be the more realistic one. In this case, the upper indicator will show the current ideological status of the speaker.
