The rules are simple - first person to tap the thumb icon wins. Tap your thumb too early or last, you lose. Some of the most fun that can be had at this game involves sneaky play by the Thumb King, disguising the initiation of the game, e.g. waiting until a particularly funny and engaging story is being told, or a visual distraction comes into play.
