Time Stream 1.2.2 Update
2026-02-26
Bug fixes galore, visible activity notes, and some general cleaning up of the UI

Notes on the Now tab
- Activity notes now show in the Now tab while you're working through a routine. Tap to expand longer notes. You can finally make use of the notes you wrote in the activity editing screen.

On the Routines tab
- When you open a routine, your schedule info (times, type, which days it runs) is now at the top, and today's progress is below it
- The old Edit button is gone. Now, just tap the panel with your routine's details to jump straight into editing.
- Edit screens now have a simple label at the top and one clear place to type the name, rather than showing a confusing double title, making it unclear where you needed to tap.
- Your schedule info stays visible even on off days, so you can check your setup without waiting for a scheduled day

Other improvements and bug fixes:
- We fixed the phantom reminders firing for routines you never started. Most noticeably, the bundled “Travel” example routine was triggering this problem for everyone on first use. Not ideal! On-demand routines now only send idle reminders if you've actually started or scheduled them.
- We fixed idle reminder timing issues that were being seen when a routine had been skipped or completed from the Now tab view.
- The Up Next card on the Now tab view got a cleaner layout.

1.2.0 2026-01-20
The notification bugs that were causing reminders even after activities were completed or skipped have been found and fixed!

- Idle reminders no longer fire for activities you've already completed or skipped. (The app now properly cancels and reschedules idle reminders whenever you complete or skip an activity, so reminders stay accurate based on what's actually pending.)
1.1.9 2026-01-19
We're back again after a big international move and we've fixed the ordering of critical times and routines in the Routines tab:

- Critical times now display chronologically (6am, 7:30am, 8:30am, 10pm) instead of in the order they were stored
- Routines now sort by their scheduled time on the Routine tab instead of displaying out of order
1.1.8 2025-10-15
We fixed a timer bug that reappeared in a recent version:

- Timer now stays on the correct activity when switching tabs and then switching back to the Now tab
- Previously, navigating away and back would reset to viewing the first activity of the first routine
- The app now properly finds and displays whichever activity has the active timer

This regression affected users who had multiple routines in progress at once. The timer state is now preserved correctly regardless of which routine contains the active activity.
1.1.7 2025-10-15
We fixed confusing bug in timeline display when routines wrapped around bedtime:

- Bedtime and critical times now appear in the right position when they split a routine into segments
- Previously these markers appeared much later in the list, making it look like there was mysterious buffer time between routine segments
- The timeline now clearly shows what's actually splitting the routine
1.1.5 2025-09-18
** After-midnight bedtimes! **
We're back, and we've fixed scheduling issues for night owls by adding a new setting:

- New "Day Starts At" setting in Settings > Scheduling
- Define when your day resets if you usually stay up past midnight
- Evening routines schedule properly before bedtime instead of being created as early morning routines
- Notifications arrive at the right times regardless of whether you have a pre- or a post-midnight bedtime

- Updated the tutorial routine to clarify that it will automatically disappear the next day

The day boundary defaults to midnight (current behavior), so nothing changes unless you adjust it. If you regularly go to bed well after midnight, try setting your day boundary to 2, 3, or 4 AM to leave yourself the room you need for the fluctuations you expect.
