The Timegate Employee app removes the need to use a site telephone to record attendance, by allowing you to book on and off your shift, make health and safety check calls, raise incidents and complete forms and tours using the app.

The app allows seamless access to the employee portal to allow you to book holidays, view your schedule, make requests, view company announcements and much more!

Install Guide:

1. Ensure your mobile device is using the latest system update.
2. Install or Reinstall Timegate Employee App from store.
3. Once installed, ensure the Timegate Employee app is allowed to access your devices location services.
4. Enter your Client code and Personal Identification Number (PIN). If you do not have these, please ask a member of your management team.

NB. Your employer may not make all features available as this is subject to the security policies of your employer.

QR scanning for calls in multi-user mode:
If the device supports QR code scanning, the Settings page displays a new option: "Calls via QR code scan". It is off by default, but when enabled allows scanning of QR code tags for performing duty calls without PIN entry.


ENHANCED: Multi-User mode - Calls via NFC improved for successive calls:
We improved this to reduce the number of touches required for successive scans, after the first call is scanned, the app will continue to display NFC scanning popup and stay in the scanning mode, the user can press the 'cancel' option on the scan popup to exit scan mode for the selected call type.

Single user mode employees can now resume a book on performed on another device, a successful Login will now attempt a resume book-on.

Multi-User Mode: Settings Page is locked down, accessible using Timegate User username and password. SIN is set via the Multi-User mode.


The Shared or Multi-User mode registration now also requires a Manager to :
a. Enter their Timegate User username and password
b. This Timegate User requires the function role Service Delivery – Maintenance turned on, you do not need the Service license to edit this security permission.

For Multi-User Mode only:
For multi-user mode the SIN must be set in the Settings Page, and the calls popup will not display the SIN.
Settings page is now locked down, user must enter Tg User credentials to access it (*ONLY FOR for FM Cloud customers).
Settings Page is displayed for multi-user mode app registration process prior to landing on the home page.
Settings Page includes a new setting to disable(default)\enable NFC scanning to perform calls.
App can be configured so NFC tag scans can be performed for calls on the app. The Tg backend must be updated so the Employee's T and A -> RFID code setting is set.

IMPORTANT : On premise customers will require update clock web services.

Service:
In-App notification for due scheduled tours (akin to Check Call notifications).

V19.4 Time Gate App:
NEW:
The app intelligently displays a context sensitive single call type button for Service and Non-service users. The app intelligently displays a context sensitive single call type button for Service and Non-service users. Touching the displayed call type button displays a new call type popup from which a different call type can be chosen. If no call data is returned from the server all call type buttons are displayed.
Due check calls are now alerted to the app user as in-app notifications, users tap the notification to display the new sin popup to perform a check call.
App will detect if it cannot handle new Form questions types added in future Timegate versions and prompt the user - 'unsupported Form - please upgrade to the latest app version'.
The app supports the new forms multiple answer selection list.
Sync notification messages can now be tapped to close them.
Users can now process forms on Tour locations if configured in Timegate v19.4 or above.
Other:
Duty option is removed from the menu bar and the option is now available as main button option labelled 'Service'.
Includes options to access Settings and Calls page via new vertical three dot menu icon, i.e. calls page now accessible to non-Service enabled customers.
