Bus gets a flat tire? Holiday and no service? These things affect your transit experience and you need to know about them. Now you will with personalized service alerts. When your agency creates an alert (in an awesome new tool we’ve built for them), you’ll be automatically notified if it affects the routes & stops you use most. You’ll also see a cool new alerts badge on the routes bar if it has an active alert.

• We moved the “Locate Me” button to the lower right of the app. Now you don’t have to reach all the way across your screen!
• We’ve made giving app feedback even easier—we want to hear from you!
• We fixed the bug that caused the wrong stop to be selected in certain cases.

We leverage an Apple service called the "significant location change service", which runs in the background and collects data only when your device has traveled 500 meters and five minutes have passed. In standard usage, this results in a tiny processing impact to your device. The benefit to you, as a rider, is assisting your transit agency so it can more intelligently position routes and stops as well as dispatch vehicles with optimal frequency.
