- Some of you are finding it difficult to track the payment time for your PayLater installments, and we hear you. The information is now available on your PayLater account page, where it says, "Your monthly due date is on..." Turn on push notifications if you want to give yourself an extra reminder.*
- When you're in a pinch, you can rely on PayLater to take care of your electricity, Internet, insurance, and many other bills! Select PayLater when you are about to make a Bills payment. Be sure to sign up for this member-only feature if you haven't already.*

We now provide not just the hotel address, but also information about nearby shops, restaurants, transport options, up to popular attractions in the region where the hotel is located.
6. Traveloka Points Improvement
We have added a search bar on top of Traveloka Points page so that you can quickly find redemption options that suit you. The layout has also been improved to help you see available coupons.
7. Cable TV & Internet Bill Payments*
You can now pay for cable TV and Internet bills via Traveloka App. We can also remind you when it is time to make payments!

Interstellar pilots visit faraway planets on spaceships called Abroad Planetary Planes, or APP. Al and Fer are among them, and they journey across the galaxy in their beloved Traveloka APP.
Ios is the manager of APP Store, a famous APP station. When she sees Al and Fer’s blue ship parking in her station, she rushes to greet them.
"Boys! What brings you two here?"
"Ios, it's good to see you," Al smiles, "You know, the regular maintenance."
Ios glances curiously at the ship. "Traveloka has new features, doesn't it?"
Al smiles knowingly, taking out a blue button from his pocket. It floats into the air and greets them gently.
"Hello, my name is Update. I have recently made upgrades for Traveloka. Would you like to see them?"
Ios nods. Then Update flies toward the ship, followed by the three friends. They stop at a large monitor in the control deck that reads, "SPOTLIGHT."
"This is SPOTLIGHT, where you can quickly search for information and benefits in Traveloka APP, including your purchased and saved items. If you have a flight ticket to Singapore, you can find it quickly with SPOTLIGHT. If you have saved your favorite coffee shop, you can also use SPOTLIGHT to find it. Just tap the bar at the top of your phone screen to begin a search.”
Ios’ eyes light up in awe. "Nifty! Speaking of saved items, tell me about the storage room over there."
Update guides them to a room full of files. Al is excited:
"This is COLLECTIONS. It allows me to organize my saved items into albums. I usually give them catchy names and unique covers, just to keep the inspiration going. It is a great way to plan our journey to the far side of our galaxy."
"Wow, I’ve saved up many destinations and places to eat. This is going to be fun," utters Ios.
"Speaking of multiple destinations,” Fer puts his hand on Ios’ shoulder, “MULTI-CITY* can help you with that. Update, take us to the engine room."
Update shoots a screen of light, and they are suddenly transported into a room full of moving metals and buzzing sounds. Al throws his hands in the air,
"Here is the new space engine, MULTI-CITY, which gets you flight tickets to multiple places at once! Sometimes we may feel like making more stops during our journey. When we spent some time on Earth a week ago, we used MULTI-CITY to book a flight from Jakarta to Seoul, then from Seoul to Tokyo, in one go. We can also book a flight from Jakarta to Tokyo, then Seoul to Bali—four completely different places.”
“We are hoping that MULTI-CITY can improve booking experiences. We are continuously making improvements on it, so stay tuned!"
“That is amazing,” Ios’ shoulders loosen. She looks around, "I saw a glimpse of something different about the cashier in the payment room. New uniform?"
"Ha, even better!” Fer responds, “We can now change payment methods without making people restart their booking process. This might be a minor upgrade, but it will greatly improve journeys inside Traveloka."
Ios beams, feeling a surge of excitement for Al and Fer.

In late September, Traveloka’s copywriters run a horror/thriller movie marathon, screaming at the top of their lungs to everyone’s favorite nun, and being glued to their seats as a dad tracks his missing daughter online. It was all fun and games… until it was over. Exhausted but couldn’t sleep, the writers created this little game to unwind with.

Traveloka Bird: A Monologue, Part 2
After I spoke here for the first time last year, a few readers had asked about my experience flying 11,000 kilometers northward for 9 days non-stop. Was it exhausting? Not if you’ve learned to use the wind and your body fat. Did I feel alone? Of course not — birds of my species fly in flock :)
Too bad I won’t fly with my friends for our trip to Alaska this Spring (got my wings injured, ugh... long story.) I guess I’ll just go by plane, and arrange the rest of my trip with v3.0 new products:

If I must travel by plane, I might as well book an airport transport.* It takes only a few clicks, and there are many options to choose from: shuttle buses, private cars, or trains.

Once, I decided to book a Flight + Hotel package because it was cheaper to book together. I wanted to modify the flight right away but I couldn’t.
Because I had to choose a package first before I could change the flight option back then.
Now I won’t have to. Traveloka has improved the interface so I can compare hotel options and change my flight right from the search results page*. Sweet.
Also once,
My travel plan kept changing until I had to cancel my flight to Bali two days before departure. For sure, I was charged a high penalty. I should have bought a High Flexibility ticket, but did not.
Because Traveloka didn’t have the option back then.
Now it does — starting with Garuda flights. With a High Flexibility Ticket, I can reschedule my flight for 0% penalty and get the maximum refund upon cancellation.*
That made my day.
Also once,
I went on a holiday to Bali and stayed at a super homey accommodation. I was excited to review the place and even took some good photos of it. Sadly, I couldn’t post the photos on Traveloka.

Traveloka Bird: A Monologue
It’s weird to have people talk about the way I look. I guess that’s what it takes to live a high life… lol. Some complimented me on how healthy I look, but some others were confused by my supposed resemblance with the Twitter bird. Now with full respect to him, dear readers, I should probably take this opportunity to address your confusion.
Do we look alike? Well — both of us are blue, and being natural optimists, we never hang our heads low. However, our species are different. Birds of my family have stronger, bigger wings to take you around the world (we hold the record for longest non-stop flight ever measured, traveling 11,500 kilometers in 9 days without a break!) Myths and Facts about Traveloka 2.15
Myth #1: Seat reservation is only possible when the flight is booked through the airline’s website
Fact: With Traveloka v2.15, passengers can choose their flight seats immediately during booking, right on the booking form. Alright: for now it’s only for passengers flying full-service to international destinations. But hey, isn’t this an awesome start?
Myth #2: If they booked a flight with Traveloka, frequent flyer passengers must go to the check-in counter to inform the airline staff of their membership details.
Fact: You sure? Ain’t nobody got time for that. If you’re a frequent flyer, you can now add your membership details upon booking — we’ll make sure you earn the perks you deserve. Air miles, executive lounge and spa discounts? We got you covered.
Myth #3: Submitting a review about an accommodation can only be done through email.
Fact: This is partly true — you can send your review through email, but that’s not the only way. You can now share/edit your staying experience quick and easy through My Booking!
Myth #4: Traveloka Customer Service can only be contacted through phone call/email.
Fact: Said those who haven’t updated their app to v2.15! You can now message our Customer Service using the in-app Contact Us page. Receive a reply in 30 minutes tops!
Myth #5: Flight + Hotel will only let you see the cheapest options
Fact: While Flight + Hotel used to display only the cheapest options (and the cheapest room at each hotel), now you are free to pick the room that best suits you. Don’t worry, you can still have that cabana at your favorite five-star resort ;)

We had spent way too much time doing movie marathons (Beauty and the Beast, anyone?) — that we almost didn't notice the deadline for the new release note. Whoops. Still, we managed to write something down (because we like you).
So, what’s new?
+ New Design for My Booking
All product icons are now placed at the top. To check your flight ticket, for example, just swipe across the screen to find the icon for Flight. Tap it and your flight bookings will soon appear on the same page.
+ Pay at the Post Office in Vietnam
Another payment method has been added! If you live in Vietnam, you can now pay at the post office.
+ Room Details Enhancement
For the super organized, here’s some good news: all accommodations are now displayed with detailed information about their facilities and policies. The information is neatly sorted into different categories: Basic Facilities, Room Overview, Room Facilities, Bathroom Amenities, and Cancellation Policy.
+ Bug fixes
We were in a war against bugs. We won.
