First, choose what you want to be notified about. With our brand new Notifications Preferences in Trello’s app settings, pick which push notifications you want to get sent to your mobile device. Choose from 25 actions in Trello that will trigger push notifications at card, board, team, and invitation levels of activity.
Then, decide when it’s most productive to be notified. You can now configure custom reminders for due dates on cards. For each due date, you can choose to be reminded 1h, 2h, 1 day, or 2 days before a card is due.

We are thankful this year for all of you wonderful Trello users! Here are some updates to also be grateful for—the Trello app is now faster, with improved notifications and more:
- You no longer have to read the same update from your co-worker twice! When you mark your notifications “All As Read,” they are truly cleared from your list of unread notifications.
- It’s all about those little details: Card cover images will now adapt to the correct dimensions. Thin images are thin. Fat images are fat. And the snozzberries taste like snozzberries.
- Emoji reactions to card comments are now available to use right from your Home view, so you can send all the :) <3 without bouncing from board to board.
- We improved the speed of the app when you open a card or return to the app. Your productivity will be faster than ever!

Anyone leaving a comment on a Trello card can also add an emoji reaction. So when amazing things happen in Trello, don’t limit your celebration to just words—you can also say it with emojis. And, if you feel REALLY strongly about it, you can click an emoji that has already been added to reinforce the feels.

There truly is no place like home, Trello home that is! Come on in and take a tour of this brand new view. Home provides you with the high-level perspective of what’s happening at any moment across your teams, boards, and card activities. Let's dive into the details of what's changing...
* Home is now the first navigation option, don't worry though, you'll still be able to go straight to your boards as well.
* “Up next” shows you any cards that have due dates coming up or are recently overdue, cards with active conversations that require your reply, and cards that have you added as a member, but haven’t had any activity yet.
* “Highlights” surfaces cards from boards that may be interesting to you, you can use this view to stay updated on your team’s activities, and reply directly to cards without diving into each board.
