About Trigonometry Quiz Master

Trigonometry Quiz Master is a multiple-choice based quiz program for trigonometry problems. It provides the user with a variety of trigonmetry quizzes to exercise the user's understanding of the relationship between the lengths of sides and the sizes of angles in a triangle. There are two types of quizzes in this program: basic and advanced.

The basic quiz concentrates on the trigonometry of right-angled triangles:

sin = opposite / hypotenuse
cos = adjacent / hypotenuse
tan = opposite / adjacent

The advanced quiz concentrates on the trigonometry of non right-angled triangle. Specifically, the following rules:

The sine rule: a /sin A = b / sin B = c / sin C

The cosine rule: a square = b square + c square - 2 bc cos A

The area of a triangle: 1/2 * ab * sin C

where a, b, c are the three sides of a triangle, and A, B, C are the sides opposite to the angles.
