For all DriverPremium subscribers, this release represents a major step forward for our Forward Collision Warnings system. Logic dictates that technology should cover our blindspots and look out for us when we’re incapable of doing so. With our safety system alert fusion, we’ve done just that by allowing our attentiveness alerts system to influence the sensitivity of our Forward Collision Warnings system. This change will reduce the rate of false positives when the driver is focused on what’s happening on the road and improve the true positive rate when the driver is distracted.
Don’t forget to toggle on Drowsy Alerts if you’re about to drive after a long day’s work. You can enable it in Settings. Our computer-vision algorithm will detect if you've nodded off while behind the wheel and provide a visual + audio alert. Drowsy driving poses a huge risk to drivers and pedestrians alike, and we hope this feature will help keep you safe on the road.

With Sync Status, you can now view the progress of your trips being synced to the cloud from the app's Trips view and force sync to prioritize which trips make it up first. This way you'll gain the added confidence that your trips are protected. You can also be one of the very first to try our first version of Drowsy Alerts, which was just added to our growing safety suite. Our industry leading computer-vision algorithm will detect if you've nodded off while behind the wheel and provide a visual + audio alert. To enable this feature, tap the Safety/Shield icon while you're recording or toggle on Forward Collision Warnings in Settings. Drowsy driving poses a huge risk to drivers and pedestrians alike, and we hope this feature will help keep you safe on the road.
As part of our commitment to protecting your data, you now also have the option of deleting your account directly from the app. Doing so will delete your DriverCloud account and all of your app's drive data. Just be careful not to accidentally delete your account!
