Don't waste your time with other paid or advert-supported apps, try Tube Transport for iPhone and iPad. Includes:

London Underground (Tube) map - high quality and regularly updated. This is the standard map provided by Transport for London.

Line status, updated often and quickly - never miss a potential issue! Includes all tubes, Overground and DLR.

Notifications can be set up for lines, either for all service updates or sent at a certain time Monday to Friday - perfect for commuters in the morning.

Now includes the standard Thames Clipper timetable (no live updates).
