Lots of bug and crash fixes including:
- some users who couldn't press the done button on VOD selection on their iPads
- tapping More Cast & Crew in detail view occasionally crashed is now fixed
- Also On in the detail view of a show sometimes crashed and is now fixed

We've done lots of work to reduce the app's memory footprint and make it work on low bandwidth and intermittent connections, which hopefully means fewer crashes!
You can open the programme detail view even if you have no internet assuming that you've at least opened the app once before to download the listings.
The multiple screenshots in detail view only download if you have the bandwidth.
Free movies on the home screen now sorts by Rotten Tomatoes and then IMDB so better movies are displayed first.

Other enhancements for film details:
New Parent Guide so you can see the positive vs negative (violence, language, sex ). You can tap the bubbles for more info.
Awards and posters
British Board of Film Classification i.e. U, PG, 12, 12A, 15 & 18 added to movies
Age appropriateness for movies for under 18-year-olds from Common Sense Media
Titles on detail view are now two lines to better accommodate long programme titles.
You can swipe down to dismiss.
Facial recognition on cast images to better focus on their faces and new initial icons if cast names are missing
Google view no longer has an overlapping back button and Done button
Time on TV has been moved up in the detail view
Love and hate have been removed because it only worked for movies and wasn't used much
Actors were sometimes missing in films and that's been fixed
You can tap IMDB rating to open the IMDB web site

We are hoping you are all keeping safe at home and watching lots of TV!
We've got lots of updates for you:
A new row of Live News on the home screen.
We've now allowed you to add any programme on TV to your watch list. You can just long-press on them in the grid or press the watch list icon. When you add a show all individual episodes of that show will be highlighted with a star in the grid and appear in a new 'Watch list on TV' row on the home screen and on the watch list tab.
You can tap row headings on the home screen to see a full screen view
Episode guide for most shows - it might take some time to load if there are 1,000s of episodes.
IMDB ratings appear for films on the home and detail screen
Metacritic ratings for films appear on the detail screen
New Trivia and Quotes section for films
Bugfix for occasional missing/blank row on the home screen has been fixes
Sometimes season and episode were missing from detail view and season incorrectly had comma when it should have been the year i.e. Season 2020.

We've been working hard to fix lots of crashes to make the app more stable for our favourite TV fans!

Fixes & Features:
What's on TV Now and Next, New Series starting, Upcoming Soaps, Catchup TV and Movies on iPlayer have been added to the home screen
Search now displays all episodes of a show rather than just the first one
More links to catchup providers like All4, My5, iPlayer and ITV Hub have been added
The sort order has been updated on Netflix, Amazon and YouTube home screen rows
Login options have been removed. All syncs across devices are now done via iCloud.
Episode title and programme title were sometimes switched on the home screen
(0000) was appearing incorrectly under some show descriptions

New future alerts row on the home screen tracks everything you add an alert for
Watch list and seen only work for movies now - it wasn’t always clear if you were putting an episode or the whole show in these lists so we simplified just to movies now and you can track everything else by setting alerts
Fix for crash on sort channels on iOS 12
Fixes the first two navigation buttons not being tappable when you rotate your phone to landscape for iPhone X
Daily video autoplay switch now appears allowing you to stop the video from playing each time you launch the app
Once paused, the daily highlights video should remain paused when you move between screens
You can now easily replay the daily highlights video if it is finished
You should be able to set alerts and tap on any of the shows in the daily video and it should show if an alert has previously been set
The daily video should no longer show the alert option for shows in the past
Programmes you set alerts for should appear in the grid with icons
We removed location and photo permissions

Grid view is now more compact on iPad so you can see more channels at once
Also On now shows all episodes that are on TV for a show organized by season and episode
Full Episode Guide is available for some shows that are on-demand
You can search for channel names in search and it tells you what they are airing now

App should be faster because it downloads shows in 6 hour time spans vs the previous 3 hour time spans
