This feature improves the navigation to fires and introduces a new feature. If you have paid for the app, you now can share a fire location! Just click on a fire and on the left side there will be a share button!
So if you spot a fire close to someone you know, let them know of the danger!

This version shows an alert that reminds you to think about your bushfire survival plan, and has a link to QFES site where you can create one. It is only shown once, after that it can be found under the expanded buttons. This is important! Please think this through, so that if you need to act, you have a plan!
Another improvement is that the updated view in the top now disappears after 10 seconds. If you click refresh, it will come back for 10 seconds. This is to maximize the map view so that you can see what is going on.
This version also keeps the app up to date with the latest changes from QFES.

He had some things he thought would improve the app, and they all were great ideas so here's what's new!
• The reported date in the map pin should be more visible and in the local time zone, now it is!
• The map pins should have the last time they were updated added to them, now they do!
• I should make it easier to give feedback about the app. So now if you click the "?" button you can see my email and Twitter handle so you can give feedback about the app more easily.
• This version also fixes a dark mode bug that made the number of vehicles invisible when in light mode and some other under the hood improvements.
• This version introduces a new button that hides all the other buttons so that all the buttons don't use up all the screen area and covers the map pins. The buttons have also been moved to the bottom right corner to not cover the compass that shows up when you rotate the map.

• Autocomplete on search! The search has been improved a lot! First of all, the search mainly focuses on Australia QLD so if you have similar names on towns that are near where you live the search will find the city in Australia QLD. Second of all, the autocomplete. Now when you start to type a search you will see suggestions in a list below. That way you know if you are spelling it correctly or if the map search will find your search query.

• If you give a tip the tip button is removed from the map, so it doesn't use up map space. (To the ONE person who has payed for this app, send an email to sebastian.bolling at gmail.com and I will send you a promotion code that will remove the tip button from your screen )
• If you click a map icon, the text inside now starts with vehicles on site and vehicles on route.
• A new statistics button! It shows the current number of vehicles on scene and vehicles on route in all of Queensland. The thought is to get an overview of if the fires are getting better or worse. Each time you launch the app the value gets stored and if you click the button you will get a graph of how the numbers are progressing. The graph will show 1 point of data per day, and 0 on the X axis is today, 1 is one day back, 2 is two days back and so forth. If you refresh or start the app multiple times one day the current value will get the average value for that day.
As you look at the total number of vehicles out there it’s clear that there is a lot of good men and women out there fighting these fires. Thank them if you get the chance!
