Stay on top of the weather with our lock screen widgets. To access them, long-press the Lock Screen >> Customize >> Add Widgets >> find Windy.app in the list to choose the widget.
Personalize your lock screen by selecting weather parameters you need: wind speed, direction, gusts, and other weather conditions. Make sure to enable location access for the app and widgets in your phone settings.
Note: for iOS 16+

Exciting news for our British users and their neighbors – we've added another regional model, UKV2, from the Met Office. It’s detailed enough to show breezes and local circulations in the wind forecast and it’s perfect for short-term planning in terms of accuracy.
This model is available to PRO users, both for spots and on the map.
P.S. Can you believe it's our 13th model overall and 9th regional model? Using multiple models increases confidence and gives a more nuanced understanding of the weather conditions.

We’ve added one more regional model--it’s called HRDPS, and it is produced by the Meteorological Service of Canada. It covers Canada and the northern part of the US. The spatial resolution is 2.5 km, which lets you see the breeze and local circulation in the wind forecast, as well as giving you a more accurate prediction of all standard weather parameters.
It’s available for PRO users both for spots, and on the map.
