나는 어떻게 세상에 존재하게 되었을까?
창조되었을까? 진화되었을까?

미국의 기상학자 로렌츠는 1961년 컴퓨터 시뮬레에션을 통해 기상 변화를 예측하는 과정에서 정확한 초기 값인 0.506127 대신에 0.506을 입력했다. 그런데 0.000127이라는 초기 입력치 차이는 완전히 다른 기후 패턴으로 나타나게 되었다. 작은 차이가 큰 차이를 만들었고 “브라질의 나비의 작은 날개 짓이 택사스의 태풍을 몰고 온다”는 나비 효과란 말도 등장하게 되었다.

나는 어떻게 존재하게 되었을까?
우리의 처음을 바로 알지 못한 채 설정된 삶이, 참다운 행복과 영광된 미래를 열어 갈수 있을까?
