About Veews
Veews is a platform aimed at fostering a community where every student can connect efficiently with their peers.
Veews provides a context-aware chat framework for direct and group text messaging for classes, dorms, student orgs, student services and events. Veews provides ready-made chats for every class on a college campus using the college’s course catalog.
Veews users, each of whom has a verified college affiliated email, can peruse and join any public chat without needing to be explicitly added whereas they will be oblivious to them on other apps. Furthermore, Veews provides student merchants an avenue to advertise their services and broadcast their events campus-wide. This is closely integrated with the chat framework as users are able to directly message merchants and event organizers to elicit more information.
