This version is brings minor changes. First, you must now enter a valid zip code along with the credit card information, when adding a card.
Second thing we changed was: instead of having multiple icons for different areas on the map, you can now simply tap the area to see details about it. If an area is specific to a ride type, it will be displayed in the explanation bubble.
Also, you can now keep scanning for nearby rides even after starting a trip! We understood from some users that they want to be able to switch rides sometimes, so we listened and enabled it.
Lastly, we changed the way we ask for permissions and reviews. Now, permissions and requests for reviews will only appear in specific contexts and only if necessary, to avoid spamming.

This week’s version is mainly focused on making the registration process shorter by only requiring a Payment Method and nothing else.
Moreover, we added a new way to add a payment method: Credit Card scanning.
Included in this version is also the new and improved Inappropriate Parking report section (which can be found by going to the Help & Info section and selecting Report Issue).
This new feature will allow you to either choose your own location as a reference or mark the parking location on the map.
Last significant change for this version is the new clustering method in our map:
- Markers on the map will shrink according to the map’s zoom level
- Area icons will only display once you zoom in enough.
- Rides will only cluster if there are many rides very close to each other and it will only cluster these individual groups, not all the rides on the map.
The less significant changes are:
• Fixed the rare issue where the Dashboard would disappear from the main page.
• If your profile is incomplete, there will be an exclamation mark notifying you to complete your profile.
• Fixed an issue where a photo would upload twice.
• Fixed the issue where you can be locked out of the app due to riding after service hours.
• Added new How to End Trip animations for pedal bikes and e-bikes.

First of all, we animated all the pages of the app to make the app look a little more alive.
We added new and improved animations for e-scooters and riding instructions and also added a new look to our End Trip page. Also, the app will present a pop up if you are about to park in an invalid area.
For our main page, we added a new and improved Dashboard, which will contain all the information relevant to the user. Also, if the app is trying to resume an existing trip, the Dashboard will show the proper animation to indicate that and prevent confusion.
Riding an e-scooter? The main page will now display a “How to Ride” button to help you understand how to use it.
Regarding the pins on the map, we listened to your feedback and added a Map Legend button, which will present a page with explanations on what each ride pin represents.

Some user interface changes worth mentioning:
• The UI on the Ride Confirmation page is now cleaner and easier to use.
• Past Trips page will now show the start time of the trip next to the start date. It will also display some cool art, instead of a map, if there is not a lot of information to show on the map.
• The map will now show a dedicated pin for clustered bikes, to help users understand the cluster might contain multiple type of rides.

We have made some big improvements to the app! Aside from fixing a few bugs, we’ve added some new features, described below. We hope this version will provide a more seamless experience overall for you.
What’s New:
• Invite a Friend feature! You can now invite friends, who have yet to try our rides, to download the app and enjoy VeoRide! Each invite gifts the friend with a $2 credit, which will be added to his account automatically. After your invited friend takes his first ride, you will get $2 for yourself. See what we did there? It’s a “give $2, get $2” so we could all unlock some joy in our day!
• You can now add payment methods and redeem promo codes during the onboarding process. And when you need to check your balance, just tap the ? button next to your balance, in the wallet page, to see how much money’s available and how many rides credits you’ve earned.
• New promo system that’s not tied to a specific type of ride. Now the system will always add ride credits to your account to be used on *any* ride type!
• Better Stability: This version fixed a major issue where some people who registered for the app were blocked from using our amazing rides, due to an internal glitch.
• No need to reinstall the app after updating to the newest version. What?! That’s right, we fixed that little problem. We apologize for dropping the ball there. :disappointed:
• You can now find a Contact Us page in the Help & Info section and also in the Report Issue section. You can now use it to send us emails, directly from within the app, using your own email. This will allow you to keep all your correspondence with us in a single place.
