Videogame Backlog Manager Description
Videogame Backlog Manager (VBM) is a simple app to help manage your video game backlog and collection. You can search for games and add them to your library. When adding a game, you can specify your progress and whether or not you are currently playing and/or have beaten the game. Using this information, VBM provides a simple way to keep track of your now playing list, your backlog and your library. In addition to this, you can also to add notes/ratings to your games, as well as share your game lists with others via email. Backing up and restoring your games list is also possible through Dropbox. VBM uses the GiantBomb API for game data.

Fixed an issue where the same game could be added on the same platform multiple time and these duplicate games could not be deleted. This issue was introduced in version 1.2.5.

My apologies to anyone inconvenienced by this bug.
1.2.5 2014-05-01
I've added the ability to add a custom platform for a game. This is especially useful if a game is missing its platform data on the GiantBomb Wiki.
1.2.4 2014-04-10
I've added the ability to backup and restore your games list via Dropbox.

This is a fairly simple backup system. Selecting 'Back Up' via the 'More' tab will generate a file consisting of your games list and upload it to Dropbox. Selecting 'Restore', will download the last backup file and populate the app with the corresponding games. This is useful if you ever need to delete the app or upgrade your device and what to ensure that you don't lose your games list. Note that you will need to link the app with Dropbox to be able to backup.

This version also addresses a bug where search results contained duplicate games.
1.2.3 2014-02-27
Fixed issue where certain searches were not returning any results. The issue was due to a GiantBomb update which caused regressions in search requests. I've replaced the original search request with a different one which was not affected by the regressions.

Apologies to anyone inconvenienced.
1.2.2 2014-02-14
Fixes a critical bug introduced in v1.2.1 where games would appear in the backlog/now playing list with (null) specified as their platform. Attempting to delete these games would result in a crash.

Apologies to anyone inconvenienced.

v 1.2.1
------
Games that have been saved locally are now automatically updated with the latest data when accessed.

Fixed a crash that occurred when loading certain games due to missing data. Apologies to those inconvenienced.

v1.2
------
I've added the ability to add the same game on multiple platforms. A lot of people asked for this one! In order to support this, the behaviour of the app has been slightly changed. You can now only edit a game via the Now Playing, Backlog, or Library sections of the app. You can only add games (not edit them) via the Add Games (formerly Search) section of the app. This is because the same game has different stats/data for different platforms. This may sound confusing, but I hope it'll be clear once you start using the app.

In addition, images are now cached on disk so you should see fewer placeholders, especially on the Now Playing screen.

I've also added a FAQ section and as always, feel free to send me feedback and questions.

1.1.1 2013-11-27
This release fixes a bug where the Send and Cancel buttons were not visible when composing an email, resulting in the user being unable to exit the screen. The issue was isolated to occur only on first launch and only on certain devices (ie. 3rd Gen iPad).

Apologies to anyone inconvenienced.
