New Features

1. Simple Sign-on: Login once per day. We have made substantial changes to how our login and session-handling works. The goal is for users only have go through the initial login process once.

2. Easy Device/Location swapping: Along with the login changes, we have made it even easier to switch between Device/Location from within the application.

3. Device/Location take-over: We understand that there has been frustration with license management and to help alleviate this stress, we are making it possible to take over an in-use license.

4. Global Payments only: Tap-pay functionality. We are introducing NFC (or Tap-pay) capability to the TabletPOS system, making it possible to accept Google/Apple wallets, as well as, NFC-capable credit cards.

For this feature a new Chip Reader is needed: BBPOS Chipper 2X (C2X). If you would like begin using this new reader, please reach out to Global Payments.

* Authorized Order Management - We’ve added an Authorized Orders section to TabletPOS so you can keep track of the orders that have been approved for payment, but have not moved to a Completed status. This new section allows you to process all authorized orders at once or individually, and incorporate signatures or tips per order.

This version of our application contains the following changes:

Sleeping the application will now properly send the user to the PIN screen, instead of the login screen, preventing the license from being set to an orphaned state.

Bottle deposit totals now display on the Order summary and Tip screens.

Discounts will now display more clearly on-screen.

Swiping a credit card on the new member screen now properly inputs the first and last name into their respective fields.
